Amanda Christensen, LCSW
As a therapist, I support individuals and couples as they navigate life transitions, strengthen their relationships, and build a deeper sense of grounding and authenticity. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a space where you can show up fully curious, honest, and real.
My work is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), along with person-centered, strengths-based, and humanistic approaches. At the core of my practice is the belief that you are the expert on your own life and that you already hold the capacity for growth and healing. Together, we’ll explore the emotions, patterns, and needs beneath the surface so you can gain deeper self-understanding and foster more meaningful connections with yourself and others.
I work with adults and couples navigating major life changes, relationship and intimacy challenges, and the desire to feel more aligned and connected in their lives. I also have a strong interest in supporting women navigating hormone-related challenges, including PMDD, cycle-related mood changes, reproductive transitions, and the emotional impact of living in a body that can feel unpredictable or overwhelming. I’m passionate about helping women better understand these experiences, reconnect with themselves, and cultivate greater self-trust and compassion.
